The fall 2017 collection from Kanye West‘s label Yeezy is the first collection I love. I am not saying there was John Galliano level of creativity but this was his best set of clothes to ever be presented to us from Kanye.

What I loved the most from the collection is the variety. His collections have been plagued with endless nude tones from season to season. He had denim, different colors, fur, knee highs and thigh highs. He stayed true to his style which is street style but had a little bit of fashion in there. The collection was presented in a fun way to. Kanye West showed the collection in Pier 59 where he had the models on a large screen. This gave the audience a closer look at the clothes as the models spin. I appreciated this because we get to see the details more as to the clothes zooming past us and all that we are left with is the smoke cloud shaped like Naomi Campbell. The models then walked for a finale walk. Another highlight from the show was Halima Aden. Halima walked out in a long fur coat and her own hijab. Making such a political statement especially during the Trump administration is so needed. I love this Yeezy collection and hopefully this is a turn for the better.
