In the ninth issue of the CR Fashion Book there is a beautiful fashion story which is centered around the 18th century wigs.
Let’s take a moment to just look at these images. These images harken back to the Diana Vreeland days at Vogue. The time where fashion was fantasy. In Diana Vreeland‘s own words “The eye has to travel” and boy does the eye travel with this editorial. I am obsessed with the hair and the accessories infused into it. Flower infused into heaps of hair stacked sky-high with hats or mittens wraps around them.
Vanity hair! Not only was the hair a spectacle but the clothes were beautifully selected by master stylist Carine Roitfeld as tho she was curating a show at the MET. The Alexander McQueen quilt that ended the fall 2016 ready to wear show and the Burberry couture jacket that I am in love with. I am obsessed with this issue like I am with every issue.
